Leadership Unplugged

Location: Governor Hill Mansion, Augusta
Dear Friend,
Please join us for the fifth session of our Leadership Unplugged series, “Investing in Innovation for a Prosperous Maine.” Investing in research and development is critical to building a vibrant and sustainable economy for Maine. It is, in fact, a bright light in these gloomy times, creating good paying jobs for people throughout our state and providing hope for our future.
Betsy Biemann, President of the Maine Technology Institute, will talk with us about innovative Maine companies that are bucking the trend by growing in the down economy, and how investments in innovation are building a better economic future for our state.
When: Friday, February 5, from 7:30–9:00am
Where: Governor Hill Mansion (formerly the St. Paul Center), 136 State Street, Augusta
Registration fee per person (includes breakfast):
$12 MDF members; paid Leadership Maine alumni
$16 non-members; non-paid Leadership Maine alumni
Immediately following Betsy’s talk (from 9-9:30 a.m.), there will be an informational briefing about Leadership Maine for any who would like to stay and explore the opportunity to apply for Maine’s premier leadership program.
Please visit our website to register online at www.mdf.org/events/Leadership-Unplugged/202. Seating is limited, so please register early.
I look forward to seeing you on February 5th!
Best regards,
